We are Coralie and Nicolas, founders of the Escapade gites in Lascaux.
Settled in the Dordogne for more than 12 years, we fell in love with this region with its landscapes, its history and its culinary specialities.
To share this, we have opened the Escapade lodging in Lascaux in 2021.
We have already welcomed and accompanied hundreds of travelers in the heart of the Périgord Noir.
But many people have asked us a recurring question:
They constantly asked us if it was possible to discover the famous black truffles in exclusivity, jewels of the French gastronomy and true jewel of Périgord.
Our goal is to make you discover this so particular product, the whole, surrounded by true connoisseurs of the kitchen périgourdine and truffle growers ready to make discover their unknown world.
Aware of the fact that it is not easy to find the right people and that it can quickly become very expensive we decided to create the Truffle Stay.

They are waiting for you to discover the well kept secrets of the truffle!
Professional of the sector for many years, President delegate of the French Federation of Truffle Growers, his years of experience, to côtoyer the black diamond, allowed him to acquire the theoretical and practical knowledge which will be very invaluable to you. He will talk to you about the cultivation of the Périgord truffle, he will show you around his truffle farm and you will have the opportunity to assist in the search for truffles with his partner Huria.
You will also be guided to a local truffle market to explain the rules of the event.
Julie & Benjamin
Here are Julie and Benjamin, your cooks specialized in Perigord products.
Seasonality, terroir and freshness are the key words of our duo of chefs. They will compose all of your "All Truffle Menu".
They advocate sustainable agriculture and treat all their products from A to Z.
They will share with you their Perigord identity with that touch of modernity that transcends a simple dish into a work of art.
You will have the privilege to taste the creations of these two talented and complementary chefs, decorated with prestigious awards, distinguished by the Gault & Millau, in their establishment "Le Boïdicou".
Your entire menu will be based on seasonal products and will come only from their short circuits, composed of local producers, chosen for their quality of work and their professional ethics. Their goal: to make you live an unforgettable experience.
